you kiss your mother with that mouth?
someone please tell me, what is it with canines' disgusting infatuation with human waste? my dog just added dirty diapers to his list of favorite foods. yep. the ripe treats rank right up there with cheese and used kleenexes. he feasted on one of fox's old huggies last week and scattered the shredded remains across my mother's living room carpet, and ever since i have been taking extra care to throw the diapers in an inaccessible garbage can. despite my best efforts, another lacerated nappy mysteriously appeared the other day, which led me to believe that gunther had a secret stash that he had been hoarding, saving the tasty morsels for a rainy day. sure enough, after catching gunther nosing the pillows around on my mother's beautiful sofa, i came across an old stinky diaper, still in tact, underneath a stack of pillows. just giving you all fair warning: think twice before you ask gunther for kisses.

They "say" dogs have the cleanest mouths. But I beg to differ. I see what Jack licks...& sniffs for that matter. I let him kiss my hands...like a true gentleman.
poor gunth. he doesn't know any better. he is just tries his hardest to make your life more interesting!
gunth. i love ya. not because you're disgusting, but in spite of it.
what the? sick! maybe he's just doing it for attention...
oh gunther...you're prec even with diaper mouth. belle likes the crotch of my garments. i try to teach her not to pull them from the hamper because they are sacred. she said, "then why are they in the hamper, mom?" so i told her she is a lady and not a crotch monger.
Gross, he totally gave me a big slobbery kiss when I was over the other day.
Hee hee hee!...ewww.
I hear rumours that you are coming back to the I. ward? Can it be?? We're excited to see y'all!
Perhaps he is jealous of Fox and thinks he can morph into him by eating his feces. Either way so disgusting! At least he doesn't eat his own, my sister's dog does that--nasty!
Yea, I think i will keep tanner away from those lips!
yummy! though i must say that is one intelligent pup to find sneaky little storage places for his stinky indulgences.
oh my.......
this makes me glad i've not given into the furry creature temptation
That is AWESOME! Poor Gunther. I wonder if he will grow out it. So, how is Fox adjusting to the US of A? Sleeping good yet? I know I have said this before, but I love reading your blog. It is usually one of the first ones I check when I get online.
One of my old roommates named her son Fox (Jenise & Shawn blog link) and a different former roommate has a cat named Gunther. Kinda eerie in a way.
I am a friend of Lori's, but then again who isn't a friend of Lori's and Van. I was inspired to tell you I have been spying on you. Partly because my husband believes that reading peoples blogs who didn't invite you to read them is totally illegal. I also was inspired by the graph of how many hit the Aston's blog gets. Any way, I found your page just after I had my baby, who was actually due on the 21st (the day Fox was born). I think that is why blogs are invented to keep in contact with the outside world while you change diapers and bounce crying babies. So any way it is fun to see how big our boys are getting. Thanks for the humorous blog! Cebu Maybury
