...we thought we'd try the financially challenged, married student thing in a city where i could spend ridiculous sums of cash on nosh alone... don't get me going on shopping and entertainment.
i could not be more excited.

awwww... I'm excited for ya. I've never been before, but I am applying for a few jobs in the area. Maybe we'll be neighbors!
as previously mentioned, i am happy for you for all the reasons you mentioned. and i'm proud of your spouse too. tell him congrats for me. that really is awesome.

Seriously? That is awesome! So much better than Mexico City. Now we really have to come see you! I have been begging Jer for YEARS to take me to New York. I have been to so many different countries but have never visited the east coast. I am so jealous and super excited for you!
