packing -- nothing brings me greater pleasure this time of year, especially when i see y'alls' blogs showcasing your twinkling christmas trees, neatly wrapped packages and cozy hearths with stockings hung and fires blazing. can i get a little lemon juice on this papercut, please?
fox's first christmas. magical, right? he's actually been having the time of his life, foraging for all manner of debris while his parents are in the trenches. give him a little great lash and an eyelash curler and he's on board. gunther, what kind of a babysitter are you?
although it's slightly depressing to be celebrating the holidays with boxes and packing tape, we are uber excited about this move and extremely grateful to now have an apartment waiting for us in the big apple. dear c-bass, what can we bring to the UES christmas block party??

oh erin! i know it's a different christmas, but yeah, i'm so excited for you too! :) i love this pic of fox and gunther :P two peas in a pod! :P haha good luck!!!!!
what a a crazy time for you. but at least every box packed is a step closer to charles.
if it makes you feel any better, we just barely got our tree tonight. and it was slim pickins. it's a charlie brown christmas at the southwicks. i'd just wrap up the eyelash curler and call it christmas if i were you. and seriously ... could fox be any cuter? mine and syd's heart skipped several beats.
yuck, i hate packing. so sorry you have to do it over the happy holidays. but i'm so glad that you're looking forward to your new city. we'll be there in march and will surely be picking your brain about places to visit.
New York!? How exciting! I have been begging Jeremey to take me there for years. Now we have another excuse to go. Fox is a lucky kid. Beckham only wishes he had that much excitement and stuff to get into.
I do hate packing as much as you....but at least you get to move to NYC! I am jealous......
Hey, tell c-bass hi for me.....
seriously, fox is adorable. as always. i just can't wait to see him! and don't worry, my house pretty much looks like that. and i'm NOT packing. christmas tree-less and all... sniff.
Holy cow, fox is huge! I am sorry you have to pack at Christmas...maybe you could decorate your NYC apartment once you get there and just have christmas in Jan...right?
BTW THANKS for the baby bath! It has been great as Ty didn't love taking a bath in the kiddie pool...do ya blame the poor kid!
You are darling. I am glad to see other kids are as fascinated with their mom's makeup bag as mine are. Just think of all the twinkle lights that will be brightly shining every night in the Big Apple.
foxxy's looking happy as a lark with all the lash curler/powder brush action. who needs a tree. it's christmas for foxxy. as for chuck bass... what a thrill. puts a dark, addicted smile on my face. you know you love me. xoxo.
moving is awful. new york is awesome. you are going to love it...i have too much to say for a blog-gotta send an email. merry christmas, with or without a tree.
what a little stud muffin fox is! (do people still say stud muffin?) is it true? is there really another 28 year old out there who cannot get enough gossip girl or am i just getting my hopes up...?
so, about Thursday night...
we both feel horrible about not showing up to the move. Mark had every intention of helping -- though he didn't even tell me until 7pm that night. when we were driving home from Carrollton. without your address. or a phone. and while I remembered something about the general geographical area where you lived, driving randomly through the parking lots of 10 or so apartment complexes proved that I indeed did not know where you lived. looking back, our time would have been better spent had we stopped at a payphone and made some calls. heck, we could have driven home and back in the time we spend suspiciously driving in and out of parking lots. but it was all for naught. and now we're ashamed and embarrassed. and very sorry we didn't get to see you guys again before you moved.
hope things went/go well - I'm excited to read about your adventures in the city.
You lucky little bits! You are going to see all sorts of famous people. Just don't forget us little guys...we have been friends for some time! Cute little Fox & Gunth. I love them.
It was good to see you and your family tonight. Fox is a cutie. Hillary told us how to find your blog so I hope it's Ok. Take care in the Big Apple. Brandon and Elise.
