john stossel.
the encounter:
before we landed in the big apple, matt had heard a rumor that john stossel, a new yorker, was a great volleyball player and could often be found bumping, setting and spiking in central park. it became a small dream of matt's to one day face off with stossel and his 'stache.
so, today was an AMAZING day in new york. it was warm. really warm. no-jacket-needed warm. sweet, sweet relief. matt and his fellow classmate, nathan, decided to celebrate the nice weather and the beginning of spring break with a little beach volleyball in central park. right as we were leaving, stossel himself rides up on his bike and surveys the sand.
bonus:
stossel is a lot shorter and a little grayer than i'd envisioned, but the mustache didn't disappoint.

shorter? hmm. ya, i always pictured him tall. he seems like the tall, dark and handsome kind. not that i'm attracted to him or anything but ... he fits the bill, ya know?
